This month, I attended a specialist addiction and recovery training event in London, with contributions from Dame Benny Refson, founder of Place2Be, and Mike Trace, CEO of Forward Trust.

An inspiring day spent learning alongside people doing meaningful work in the mental health, addiction and recovery sector.

Looking forward to the Essex Recovery Festival this July — a powerful community event celebrating recovery, connection, and hope.

 

Events like this play an important role in reducing stigma and bringing people together across the recovery community.
